Role overview
We are seeking a skilled Motorman/Oiler to join our team on a Bulk carrier. As a key member of the engine department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the vessel's machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of engine operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and carrying out repairs as needed. You will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the engine room, as well as participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, you will work closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate for the position of Motorman/Oiler.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working on bulk carriers or similar vessels.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a demanding marine environment.
- Must have a strong understanding of engine operations and maintenance procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
