As an Ordinary Seaman on an oil/chemical tanker, you will be part of the deck team responsible for maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure.
Your role will involve performing various tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ship.
You will work under the supervision of senior deck officers.
Your day-to-day duties will include cleaning and maintaining the deck, performing cargo operations, and participating in drills and training exercises.
You will also be required to stand watch, monitor the vessel's surroundings, and report any issues to the officer on duty.
Additionally, you will assist with mooring and unmooring operations, as well as other tasks as directed by the deck officers.
