Requirements
- OKSTCW III/2 Chief Engineer certification and/or a degree in Marine Engineering or a related field At least 15 years of experience in the marine industry, including a minimum of 1 year in a shore-based technical management role Background in tanker vessels and prior shore-based experience is essential – candidates moving directly from sea will not be considered Strong knowledge of ISM Code, Flag and Class requirements, drydocking, and technical project delivery Proven leadership ability, with experience managing engineering teams, promoting a safety-first culture, and conducting appraisals and performance reviews Right to work in the UK without company visa support
