Requirements

  • OKEducational Background: Post-secondary education in Maritime Studies, preferably with a focus on Marine Engineering.
  • OKA Class One Certificate of Competency is highly desirable.
  • OKExperience: A minimum of 3 years in a technical or managerial role within the maritime industry, with a proven track record of success in ship operations and maintenance.
  • OKRegulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of ISM/ISO regulations, OCIMF standards, and the ability to conduct thorough investigations and analyses.
  • OKTechnical & Leadership Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), the ability to analyze technical data and drawings, and strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • OKFlexibility & Mobility: Valid passport and driver’s license, with no travel restrictions.
  • OKThe role involves routine after-hours and weekend work, on-call responsibilities, and occasional international travel.
