Requirements
- OKOversee the technical operations and maintenance of assigned vessels to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- OKMonitor vessel performance through regular inspections, performance reports, and maintenance records.
- OKDevelop and implement maintenance schedules, including dry-docking and special surveys, to minimize downtime and ensure vessel readiness.
- OKLiaise with vessel crews, technical departments, and external service providers to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and technical support.
- OKEnsure compliance with international maritime regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- OKManage technical budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- OKPrepare and review technical reports, including incident investigations, performance analyses, and maintenance records.
- OKProvide technical guidance and support to vessel crews, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- OKBachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- OKMinimum of 5 years of experience in a technical superintendent role within the maritime industry.
- OKStrong knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- OKProven experience in managing technical budgets and controlling operational costs.
- OKExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- OKProficiency in using maritime software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OKFluency in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
- OKWillingness to travel and spend time onboard vessels as required.
