Role overview
The 2nd Engineer is a key member of the engine department on our ASD Tug vessel. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engines and associated equipment. The 2nd Engineer will work closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel.
The 2nd Engineer's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. The 2nd Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of engine performance and maintenance activities. Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will assist with cargo operations and other deck activities as required.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 2nd Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a similar vessel type.
- Must have a strong understanding of engine maintenance and operation.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid medical certificate.
