Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the AHT vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations, deck maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will also be involved in navigation and watchkeeping.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties will include supervising the crew, managing deck operations, and maintaining accurate records of cargo, navigation, and safety procedures. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for conducting regular safety drills and training exercises to ensure the crew is prepared for emergency situations. Additionally, the Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to plan and execute voyages.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on an AHT or similar vessel.
- Must have a valid STCW certificate, including survival craft and rescue boat training.
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced maritime environment.
