You will help ensure safe, efficient operation of propulsion, generators, and cargo handling equipment. The role includes monitoring performance and reporting any irregularities.
Daily duties involve routine inspections, oil analysis, and preventive maintenance of engines, pumps and compressors. You will supervise junior engine crew, manage spare parts inventory, and assist with repairs during voyages. Record keeping, fuel consumption reporting and compliance with environmental regulations are also part of the job.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 95/96 endorsement and valid 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC) for a vessel of 5,000‑10,000 gt
- OKMinimum 2 years sea service as 2nd Engineer on a General Cargo or similar vessel
- OKProven experience with diesel engines, generators and auxiliary plant systems
- OKAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and schematics
- OKGood communication skills, teamwork orientation and basic computer literacy
