Role overview
The 2nd Officer is a key member of the deck team on our oil/chemical tankers, responsible for navigation and cargo operations. This role requires a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety protocols. The 2nd Officer will work closely with the Master and other officers to ensure safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 2nd Officer's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel, monitoring cargo operations, and maintaining deck equipment. They will also be responsible for performing watchkeeping duties, including monitoring the vessel's position and surroundings. Additionally, the 2nd Officer will participate in drills and training exercises to maintain and improve their skills.

What we look for
- Hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Have at least 12 months of experience as a 2nd Officer on a tanker vessel
- Possess a valid tanker endorsement
- Have a good understanding of ISM and ISPS codes
- Hold a valid medical certificate
