Role overview
The 2nd Officer is a key member of the deck team on our oil tanker vessels, responsible for navigating the ship and maintaining safety standards. This role requires a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety protocols. The 2nd Officer will work closely with the Master and other deck officers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 2nd Officer's day-to-day duties will include navigating the ship, maintaining navigational equipment, and conducting safety drills. They will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the vessel's cargo and ballast systems, as well as performing regular safety inspections. Additionally, the 2nd Officer will be required to keep accurate records of the vessel's movements and operations.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- 2 years of experience as a deck officer on a tanker vessel
- Valid medical certificate
- GMDSS certification
- Tanker endorsement
