Role overview
The 2nd Officer is a key member of the bridge team on our Ro-Ro vessel, responsible for supporting the Master and Chief Officer in all aspects of navigation and cargo operations. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The 2nd Officer will also be involved in maintaining the safety and security of the vessel.
The 2nd Officer's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, maintaining navigational equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. They will also be responsible for supervising deck crew members and participating in cargo operations. Additionally, the 2nd Officer will be required to maintain accurate records and reports, including navigational logs and cargo documents.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- 2 years of experience as a 2nd Officer on a similar vessel type
- Valid medical certificate
- GMDSS certification
- Proficiency in English language
