The 3rd Officer is a key member of the deck team on a Bulk carrier, responsible for navigation, cargo operations, and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime regulations and safety procedures. The 3rd Officer will work closely with the Master and other officers to ensure safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 3rd Officer's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, monitoring cargo operations, and performing routine maintenance tasks. They will also be responsible for keeping accurate records and logs, and participating in drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 3rd Officer will stand watch, using radar, GPS, and other navigation equipment to ensure safe passage.

Requirements
- OKHold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- OKHave at least 12 months of experience as a deck officer on a merchant vessel
- OKPossess a valid medical certificate
- OKHave completed all required STCW training courses
- OKHold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity
