Role overview
The 4th Engineer is a key member of the engine department on a bulk carrier, responsible for maintaining and repairing ship equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices. The 4th Engineer will work under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.
The 4th Engineer's day-to-day duties include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring equipment performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will assist with cargo operations and other tasks as needed.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel
- Must have a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Must be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination
