Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 4th Engineer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. The 4th Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and operating the vessel's engine and mechanical systems. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
The 4th Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on the vessel's engines, pumps, and other mechanical equipment. They will also be required to monitor and maintain the vessel's fuel and lubrication systems, as well as perform other tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer. The 4th Engineer will work closely with other members of the engine department to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and follow safety procedures.
- Must be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
