The 4th Engineer will support the engine department on a dry‑bulk carrier of up to 60,000 dwt. You will assist in maintaining propulsion, auxiliary machinery and safety systems while at sea. The role reports to the Chief Engineer and works closely with the 3rd Engineer.
Daily duties include monitoring engine performance, conducting routine inspections and lubricating moving parts. You will carry out planned maintenance, record all work in the engine log and respond to any breakdowns. Participation in watch‑keeping, fuel management and compliance checks are also required.

Requirements
- OK- Engine Officer Certificate of Competency (II/1) with valid STCW 95 endorsement
- OK- Minimum 12 months sea service as 4th Engineer on a bulk carrier
- OK- Proficiency in diesel engine operation, fuel oil handling and pump systems
- OK- Ability to read and complete technical documentation and engine logs
- OK- Good command of English, both spoken and written
