The 4th Engineer will support the engine department on a modern LPG carrier, ensuring safe handling of liquefied petroleum gas cargoes. You will assist senior engineers in maintaining propulsion and auxiliary plant systems while complying with strict safety standards.
Daily duties include routine monitoring of main and auxiliary engines, performing preventive maintenance on pumps, valves and safety equipment, and recording all operational data in the ship’s log. You will respond to alarms, troubleshoot minor faults, and assist in planned repairs during voyages. Participation in watch rotations and regular safety drills is also required.

Requirements
- OK- STCW 2010 basic safety certificate and valid 4th Engineer Marine Engineer Officer’s Certificate (CoC)
- OK- Minimum 2 years sea service as a junior engineer on LPG or chemical tankers
- OK- Familiarity with IMO regulations for gas carriers and cargo handling procedures
- OK- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and maintenance plans
- OK- Good command of English, both spoken and written
