Role overview
The Able Seaman plays a crucial role on our General Cargo Vessel, supporting the deck team with cargo operations and maintenance tasks. As a key member of the crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Your experience and skills will be essential in maintaining high standards on board.
Your day-to-day duties will include assisting with cargo loading and discharge, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and participating in deck operations such as anchoring and mooring. You will also be required to stand watch, monitor vessel systems, and respond to emergencies as needed. Additionally, you will be expected to follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

What we look for
- Valid STCW certificate
- Valid medical certificate
- 2 years of experience as an Able Seaman on a cargo vessel
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Good communication and teamwork skills
