Role overview
The Bosun is a key member of the deck crew on a crude oil tanker, responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel. This role requires a strong understanding of deck operations and the ability to lead a team. The Bosun will work closely with the Chief Officer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The Bosun's day-to-day duties will include supervising deck maintenance, managing stores and inventory, and coordinating cargo operations. The Bosun will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Additionally, the Bosun will participate in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency preparedness.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Bosun or Able Seaman certificate
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Bosun or leading deck crew member
- Must have a strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must hold a valid medical certificate
