The Chief Engineer will lead the engine department of a double‑hull oil tanker of 30,000 dwt, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all propulsion and auxiliary machinery. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with classification societies and flag state regulations throughout the voyage.
Supervise and coordinate the work of the engineering crew, schedule maintenance and repairs, and monitor performance of main engine, generators and cargo pumps. Conduct daily inspections, record keeping, and fuel consumption analysis to optimise efficiency. Respond to emergencies, manage troubleshooting and oversee spare parts inventory.

Requirements
- OK<requirement 1 to Valid Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency (STCW) for tankers, 2,000 HP+>
- OK<requirement 2 to Minimum 5 years sea service as Chief Engineer or Senior Engineer on oil tankers>
- OK<requirement 3 to Knowledge of IMO, MARPOL, ISGOTT and cargo pump operations>
- OK<requirement 4 to Proven leadership and crew management abilities>
- OK<requirement 5 to Current medical fitness certificate and seafarer ID>
