Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the AHTS DP2 vessel. This role involves overseeing deck operations, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for managing a team of deck crew members.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, managing cargo and deck operations, and maintaining the vessel's safety and security equipment. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for conducting regular safety drills and training exercises, as well as maintaining accurate records and logs. Additionally, the Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to plan and execute voyages, and to respond to emergencies and unexpected situations.

What we look for
- Chief Officer certificate of competency
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a similar type of vessel
- DP certification
- Strong knowledge of safety and security procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
