The Chief Officer will be second‑in‑command on a 55,000‑dwt bulk carrier, responsible for safe navigation, cargo operations and crew welfare. You will work closely with the Master to ensure compliance with all maritime regulations and company policies.
Daily duties include supervising loading and discharge of dry bulk cargo, conducting stability calculations, and overseeing deck watchkeeping and maintenance. You will manage the deck crew, conduct safety drills, and maintain all safety equipment and documentation. Coordination with the shore office for paperwork, permits and reporting is also part of the role.

Requirements
- OK- Valid Chief Officer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC) with appropriate endorsements for bulk carriers
- OK- STCW 2010 certification including FPFF, STS, and Medical First Aid
- OK- Minimum 3 years sea service as Chief Officer or 5 years as Senior Deck Officer on bulk carriers
- OK- Proven experience in cargo planning, stability management and watchkeeping
- OK- Good command of English, both written and spoken
