Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations, deck maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations on a crude oil tanker. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to achieve these goals.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharging, monitoring vessel stability and stress, and maintaining deck equipment and stores. They will also be responsible for conducting safety drills and training junior crew members. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in navigational watches and contribute to the development of voyage plans.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer on a crude oil tanker.
- At least 2 years of experience as Chief Officer on a tanker vessel.
- Valid medical certificate and proof of completion of mandatory STCW training courses.
- Strong knowledge of tanker operations, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with crew members and shoreside staff.
