Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the General Cargo Vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations, maintaining deck equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for supervising junior officers and crew members.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, managing cargo plans, and maintaining accurate records of cargo and deck operations. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for conducting safety drills and training crew members on emergency procedures. Additionally, the Chief Officer will oversee maintenance and repair work on deck equipment and cargo handling gear.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a similar type of vessel
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations and deck management
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Valid medical certificate
