Requirements

  • OKSTCW 2/2 Chief Officer Certificate of Competency
  • OKValid medical certificate and seafarer’s identity document
  • OKMinimum 3 years sea service as Chief Officer or 2nd Officer on general cargo vessels
  • OKProficiency in cargo handling, stability calculations and watchkeeping procedures
  • OKGood command of English, both written and spoken
