Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the LPG - Ethylene Gas Carrier. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, maintaining cargo records, and performing safety drills. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for navigating the vessel and managing cargo operations during loading and discharging. Additionally, the Chief Officer will conduct regular inspections of the vessel's deck and cargo equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer on gas carriers.
- At least 2 years of experience as Chief Officer on LPG or similar gas carriers.
- Valid medical certificate and proof of completion of LPG tanker training.
- Good knowledge of ISM and ISPS codes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
