Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member on a Multi-Purpose Vessel responsible for overseeing cargo operations and deck maintenance. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to achieve company goals.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharge, performing safety drills, and maintaining deck equipment. They will also be responsible for navigating the vessel during watches and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, the Chief Officer will conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.

What we look for
- Chief Officer certificate of competency
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a similar vessel type
