Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, managing cargo planning and loading/unloading operations, and maintaining accurate records of cargo and vessel operations. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for conducting safety drills and training crew members. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in navigation and watchkeeping, as required.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid medical certificate
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of ISM and ISPS codes
