Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior deck officer on a Pure Car Carrier responsible for overseeing cargo operations and deck maintenance. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient loading and discharging of vehicles. The Chief Officer also assists the Master in navigating the vessel.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, monitoring cargo securing, and maintaining deck equipment. They are also responsible for conducting safety drills and training crew members. Additionally, the Chief Officer participates in navigation watchkeeping and contributes to the development of voyage plans.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as Chief Officer on a similar vessel type
- Strong knowledge of cargo securing and deck maintenance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid medical certificate
