Role overview
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team on a research vessel. The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew and research personnel on board. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to important scientific research.
The Cook will be responsible for planning and preparing healthy and nutritious meals, managing food supplies and inventory, and maintaining a clean and sanitary galley. The Cook will also be required to work closely with the vessel's officers and other crew members to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, the Cook will be expected to follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the galley.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- Food Safety and Hygiene certificate
- 2 years of experience as a Cook on a commercial vessel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited storage and resources
- High school diploma or equivalent
