Role overview
We are seeking a Deck Cadet to join our team on a Crude oil tanker. As a Deck Cadet, you will be responsible for supporting the deck crew with various tasks and gaining practical experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a experienced crew and gain knowledge of tanker operations.
Your day-to-day duties will include assisting with navigation, maintenance, and cargo operations. You will also be involved in keeping the deck area clean and safe, and participating in drills and training exercises. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records and reports as directed by the officer in charge.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid STCW certificate
- Must be enrolled in a maritime academy or have completed a pre-sea training course
- Must have a valid medical certificate
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be willing to commit to a contract period
