The ETO is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems aboard a modern container ship. This includes power generation, navigation equipment, communication gear and cargo handling automation.
Perform routine inspections of generators, switchboards and distribution panels, recording any defects. Troubleshoot and repair faults in propulsion control, radar, AIS and bridge systems while underway. Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 95/96 certification with Electro‑Technical Officer endorsement and valid COC
- OKMinimum 2 years experience as ETO on a container vessel of 5,000+ TEU
- OKProficiency with high‑voltage systems, PLCs and automated cargo gear
- OKAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, marine manuals and ISO standards
- OKGood command of English, both spoken and written
