Role overview
The ETO will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all electrical and electronic equipment on board a Crude oil tanker. This includes ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The ETO's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting faults, and testing equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly. The ETO will also be responsible for updating records and documentation, and providing technical support to other crew members as needed. Additionally, the ETO will participate in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency preparedness.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a tanker vessel
- High voltage certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
