The ETO's day-to-day duties include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting faults, and testing equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly. The ETO must also be able to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals, and keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Additionally, the ETO will be required to participate in drills and training exercises to ensure they are prepared for emergency situations.

Requirements
- OKMust hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate, such as an Electronic Technical Officer certificate.
- OKMust have at least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a merchant vessel.
- OKMust have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and cargo handling systems.
- OKMust be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- OKMust be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
