What this job needs
** Experienced Electro-Technical Officer needed for LNG vessel with EuroTanker, contract from 01‑12‑2026, $11‑16k/month.

The ETO will maintain and troubleshoot all electrical, electronic and automation systems on a modern LNG carrier, ensuring compliance with class and flag regulations. You will work closely with the chief engineer and deck officers to support safe cargo handling and vessel operations.
Daily duties include routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of generators, propulsion control, cargo monitoring and communication equipment. You will diagnose faults, manage spare parts inventory, and oversee system upgrades during port stays. Reporting of technical status and coordination with shore‑based support teams are also required.

Requirements

- OK- STCW 95/96 Electro‑Technical Officer Certificate, valid for LNG vessels
- OK- Minimum 2 years sea service as ETO on LNG or gas carriers
- OK- Proficiency with PLC, SCADA, and advanced navigation electronics
- OK- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and class survey reports
- OK- Good command of English, both written and spoken
