The Master will be the ultimate authority on board a crude oil tanker, responsible for safe navigation, cargo handling and compliance with international regulations. He/she will oversee the vessel’s overall operation, ensuring the crew follows best practices and that the ship meets the owner's performance standards.
Plan and execute voyages, conduct bridge watches, and supervise cargo loading and discharge operations. Maintain watchkeeping logs, conduct safety drills, and ensure all safety equipment is serviceable. Coordinate with the chief engineer on machinery
