Role overview

We are seeking a skilled Motorman/Oiler to join our team on a Bulk carrier. As a key member of the engine department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the vessel's machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working on similar vessels and be familiar with the unique challenges of bulk cargo operations.

Your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs, as well as participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, you will work closely with other engine department personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel.
