Role overview

The Motorman/Oiler is a key member of the engine department on our oil/chemical tanker. This role involves maintaining and operating the vessel's engines and associated equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

The Motorman/Oiler will perform daily checks on engines, pumps, and other equipment to identify potential issues. They will also be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements. Additionally, the Motorman/Oiler will assist with repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
