Role overview
We are seeking an Ordinary Seaman to join our deck team on a Container Ship. As an entry-level position, this role is ideal for those looking to start their maritime career. The Ordinary Seaman will assist with various tasks and duties on board.
The Ordinary Seaman will be responsible for maintaining the ship's deck, performing cleaning and painting tasks, and assisting with cargo operations. They will also participate in safety drills and emergency procedures, and report any issues or concerns to the senior deck officers. Additionally, the Ordinary Seaman will be required to stand watch and perform lookout duties as directed by the officer on watch.
