Ordinary Seaman needed for a General Cargo vessel, contract starting 28 Oct 2026, $1125 monthly.
Employer notes
The OS will support deck operations on a 5,000 gt general cargo ship that trades in regional ports. You will work under the supervision of the Chief Mate and assist with cargo handling, watchkeeping and vessel maintenance.
Assist in loading and unloading cargo using deck gear and hand tools. Perform routine deck cleaning, painting and bilge checks. Stand watch as needed, report any abnormalities and follow safety procedures.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 2010 Basic Safety Training and valid Seafarer’s Identification Document
- OKOrdinary Seaman Certificate of Competency (OS CoC) or equivalent
- OKMinimum 6 months sea service on deck of a cargo vessel
- OKAbility to read basic English instructions and follow orders
- OKGood physical condition, able to work in wet and noisy environments
