What this job needs
The Second Officer is responsible for supporting the safe navigation and efficient operation of the vessel. The role involves voyage planning, navigational watchkeeping, maintenance of navigational equipment, and ensuring compliance with company, flag-state, and international maritime regulations. The Second Officer must maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and operational readiness at all times.

Requirements
- OKValid Officer of the Watch (OOW) / Second Officer COC as applicable.
- OKValid STCW certificates and mandatory training.
- OKValid Passport and Seaman Book.
- OKRelevant experience in the same rank and vessel type preferred.
- OKGood knowledge of navigation, COLREGs, SOLAS, and maritime safety procedures.
- OKGood communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- OKAll required documents must be valid and up to date.
