What this job needs

We are seeking a qualified and experienced 3rd Engineer to join our team on a Crude Oil Tanker. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of the vessel’s engine room and associated machinery. The 3rd Engineer will work closely with the Chief Engineer, 2nd Engineer, and other members of the Engine Department to ensure all machinery and systems operate safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and international maritime regulations

Requirements

  • OKValid Certificate of Competency (COC) as 3rd Engineer.
  • OKValid STCW certificates and required seafarer documents.
  • OKValid passport and Seaman Book.
  • OKRelevant experience as a 3rd Engineer on Crude Oil Tankers / Oil Tankers preferred.
  • OKGood knowledge of marine engines, auxiliary machinery, and engine-room systems.
  • OKStrong troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
  • OKGood understanding of maritime safety and environmental regulations.
  • OKAbility to work effectively as part of a multicultural crew.
  • OKGood communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • OKAll required documents must be valid and up to date.
