Requirements

  • OKQualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • OKSignificant experience within maritime, shipping or marine insurance law, (6-7 years PQE) Strong background in dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration.
  • OKExperience advising shipowners, charterers, insurers, brokers or other maritime stakeholders.
  • OKAbility to independently manage complex matters from instruction through to conclusion.
  • OKExcellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • OKStrong commercial awareness and an ability to deliver practical legal solutions.
  • OKExperience managing client relationships and acting as a primary point of contact.
  • OKPrevious involvement in mentoring or supervising junior legal professionals.
  • OKA proactive approach to business development and networking within the maritime industry.
