Daily duties involve supervising engine room personnel, conducting routine inspections, and troubleshooting mechanical faults. You will prepare daily reports, manage spare parts inventory, and assist with planned overhauls. Participation in watch‑keeping and emergency drills is also required.

Requirements
- OK- STCW 95/96 basic safety and advanced fire fighting, Engine Officer’s Certificate (2nd Engineer)
- OK- Minimum 2 years sea service as 2nd Engineer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel
- OK- Proficiency with diesel engine control systems and auxiliary plant equipment
- OK- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals
- OK- Good command of English, both spoken and written
