Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Engineer to join our team on a Fast Support Intervention Vessel. The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting engine problems, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They will also be required to work closely with the Chief Engineer to plan and implement maintenance schedules. Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will be expected to provide training and guidance to junior engineering staff as needed.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 2nd Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working on similar vessels.
- Must have a strong understanding of engine maintenance and repair.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid medical certificate.
