Daily duties involve supervising engine room watch teams, conducting routine inspections, and performing preventive maintenance on propulsion and cargo pump systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical failures, manage spare parts inventory, and prepare daily and monthly technical reports. Coordination with deck officers for cargo operations and emergency drills is also required.

Requirements

  • OK- Valid STCW 95/18/12 certificates and an approved 2nd Engineer CoC.
  • OK- Minimum 2 years experience as 2nd Engineer on oil or chemical tankers.
  • OK- Proficiency with diesel engine control systems and cargo pump operations.
  • OK- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machinery manuals.
  • OK- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
