The officer will also conduct safety drills, perform routine inspections of lifesaving and firefighting gear, and keep accurate logs and reports.

Requirements

- OK- STCW 95/2017 certificates, including Officer of the Watch (Second Mate) and Advanced Fire Fighting.
- OK- Valid Certificate of Competency as 2nd Officer (or higher) for cargo vessels.
- OK- Minimum 2 years sea service on bulk or cement carriers, with bridge watch experience.
- OK- Proficiency in ECDIS, GMDSS, and cargo management software.
- OK- Good health, medical fitness, and ability to work in a multicultural crew.
