Role overview
The 2nd Officer is a key member of the bridge team on a Fast Support Intervention Vessel, responsible for supporting the Master and Chief Officer in navigational and operational tasks. This role requires a high level of situational awareness and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The 2nd Officer will also be involved in maintaining the safety and security of the vessel.
The day-to-day duties of the 2nd Officer include navigating the vessel, maintaining navigational equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The 2nd Officer will also be responsible for supervising deck crew members and participating in drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 2nd Officer will maintain accurate records and logs, including navigation and cargo records.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- 2 years of experience as a 2nd Officer on a similar vessel type
- Valid medical certificate
- GMDSS certification
- Proficiency in English language
