Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on a Container Ship. The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the ship's engine and related equipment. This is a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 3rd Engineer will perform daily checks on the engine and its components, identify and repair faults, and maintain records of maintenance and repairs. The 3rd Engineer will also be responsible for supervising junior engineers and assisting with cargo operations as needed. Additionally, the 3rd Engineer will participate in safety drills and training exercises to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a valid STCW certificate.
- Must have experience with container ship operations and maintenance.
- Must be able to pass a medical examination and obtain any necessary visas.
