Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on a General Cargo Vessel. The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. The 3rd Engineer will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and to work closely with other members of the engine department. Additionally, the 3rd Engineer will be expected to participate in safety drills and training exercises.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on a merchant vessel
- Must hold a valid STCW certificate
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a medical examination
