The 3rd Engineer will support the engine department on a double‑hull oil/chemical tanker, ensuring reliable operation of main and auxiliary plant. You will work under the Chief Engineer to maintain propulsion, cargo pumps and safety systems in compliance with class and flag requirements. The role involves routine inspections, troubleshooting and record‑keeping for all machinery.
Daily duties include monitoring engine performance, conducting preventive maintenance on generators, pumps and compressors, and assisting with repairs during voyages. You will prepare daily and weekly reports, manage spare parts inventory and support the Chief Engineer in watch‑keeping schedules. Participation in emergency drills and compliance checks is also required.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 95 Certificate of Competency to 3rd Engineer (or equivalent)
- OKMinimum 2 years sea service as 3rd Engineer on oil/chemical tankers
- OKProficiency in main engine, auxiliary machinery and cargo pump operation
- OKKnowledge of IMO, MARPOL and ISM regulations and documentation
- OKGood command of English, both written and spoken
